Rascalz have emotional goodbye in final Impact Wrestling match

Trey Miguel, Dezmond Xavier, and Zachary Wentz said goodbye to Impact with tears in their eyes. The Rascalz’ contracts came to a close, so Impact gave them a farewell main event as one last hurrah. The Rascalz worked as only they can to put on a memorable match before being jumped by evil scumbag Sami Callihan.

The main event was a tag bout between Trey Miguel & Rich Swann and Dez & Wentz. The Rascalz entered as a trio one final time.

They even strutted their dance moves to Swann’s theme song.

It was a friendly affair and also very competitive with the desire of bragging rights to go out on top. Given the Rascalz fondness for passing doobies in the smoking circle, a fitting moment occurred of passing punches in a circle. It ended with head kicks to all.

Dez and Wentz hit their Hot Fire Flame finisher, but Trey made the save for the match to continue.

In the end, Dez and Wentz attempted Hot Fire Flame again. Swann rolled out of the way, then Trey flew in for a flying double knees to Dez. Swann measured a precision kick to the back of Dez’s head for the win.

Tears flowed as the Rascalz said goodbye to their first wrestling home. They hung their jackets over the top rope to symbolize their departure.

Backstage, all four men were sharing a hug when Sami Callihan and Ken Shamrock attacked. They ruined the moment with rude violence. The Rascalz may be leaving, but Swann remains to handle his business. Next week will see Swann defend his Impact World Championship against Shamrock.

The Rascalz joined Impact in 2018. They gained popularity with their flashy style in the ring and their comedic smoking circle skits inside the Treehouse, reminiscent of That 70’s Show. Rumors are pointing toward WWE as their next destination.

What was your favorite memory of the Rascalz in Impact?
