Battle Royal booked for Survivor Series Kickoff show

With just six matches scheduled for the main card of the Survivor Series pay-per-view (PPV) this coming Sun., Nov. 22, 2020, at the ThunderDome at Amway Center in Orlando, Florida, that didn’t leave much room for WWE to move a match to the Kickoff show. With the main theme of the show being interbrand match-ups between champions and a men’s and women’s team, respectively, that also didn’t leave much room for individual matchups.

You know what that means.

BATTLE ROYAL!

Indeed, the promotion announced today that a dual brand battle royal will take place on the Kickoff show starting at 6 pm ET this coming Sunday night. No participants were revealed but, really, does it matter? There will be wrestlers from Raw and SmackDown and a winner everyone will forget about within a few days anyway.

Fun!

The updated match card:

  • Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre
  • Sasha Banks vs. Asuka
  • Sami Zayn vs. Bobby Lashley
  • The Street Profits vs. The New Day
  • Team Raw vs. Team SmackDown (men’s match)
  • Team Raw vs. Team SmackDown (women’s match)
  • Battle Royal
