SmackDown rounds out its men’s, women’s Survivor Series teams

@WWE

WWE went into this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown still needing to round out the men’s and women’s Survivor Series teams. The company failed to announce any plan to do so beforehand and, in fact, simply had Adam Pearce hand out two of the spots.

First, he told Otis that he’s been remarkably impressed with his resilience and his never-say-die attitude in the face of the great adversity he’s been dealing with for months now. That’s why he’s been named as the fifth and final member of the men’s team.

Then, he told Natalya that the women’s team needed a veteran with strong leadership skills and a championship pedigree. So, naturally, Bayley was awarded the fourth spot on the women’s team.

Hardy har har.

He did give Natalya yet another chance to earn entry as the fifth and final member of the squad by beating Tamina Snuka in a singles match, and she was able to win that match. She made it!

So it’s official!

Men’s match: Kevin Owens, Jey Uso, King Corbin, Seth Rollins, Otis vs. AJ Styles, Keith Lee, Braun Strowman, Sheamus, Riddle

Women’s match: Bianca Belair, Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, Bayley, Natalya vs. Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, Lacey Evans, Peyton Royce, Lana

See you Sunday!
