How WWE will determine Drew McIntyre’s next challenger

WWE, in a somewhat surprising move, actually decided to pay off the result of the men’s elimination match at Survivor Series this year. In said match, Team Raw swept Team SmackDown. So, on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, a series of matches were booked to set up a triple threat for next week with the winner of that match earning a shot at Drew McIntyre and the WWE championship.

First, Braun Strowman was disqualified from all this after he headbutted resident authority figure Adam Pearce.

Then, Randy Orton and United States Champion Bobby Lashley talked their way into getting consideration, leading to three singles matches, with the winner’s advancing to next week for the aforementioned triple threat.

Riddle would defeat Sheamus, Keith Lee took out Lashley, and, finally, AJ Styles used an assist from The Fiend, Bray Wyatt, to score a win over Orton in the main event. That sets them up for next week to determine who will wrestle McIntyre next, presumably at the upcoming TLC pay-per-view next month.

See you then!
