Number one contender match for NXT women’s title set for tonight’s NXT

Shotzi Blackheart and Candice LeRae will go one on one for the chance to challenge Io Shirai for the NXT Women’s Championship at Halloween Havoc.

NXT GM, William Regal announced the number one contender match for the NXT Women’s Championship earlier today.

Both competitors have faced the champion recently. Shotzi had an incredible showing on Sep, 16 against Shirai in a non-title match.

The Poisoned Pixie, LeRae was unsuccessful in her title challenge at NXT TakeOver: 31 two weeks ago.

NXT announced that Halloween Havoc will return on Oct, 28 with Shotzi Blackheart as the host.

Tonight’s match will be the first time Blackheart and LeRae have met one on one in an NXT ring.

Expect fireworks in this first time match up with such high stakes attached.
