Kairi Sane returns to in-ring action at house show
Kairi Sane returned to in-ring competition Friday night at a WWE Live show in Layfette, LA. Sane has been sidelined due to injury since her main event match at the TLC pay-per-view in December. That match saw her and Asuka successfully defend their Women’s Tag Team Titles against Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair.
Sane was visibly injured at some point in the match and although WWE didn’t announce her injury it was believed to be a concussion. She has not had a match since then but has accompanied Asuka several times on RAW either out on stage or to the ring.
The house show match was a six-woman tag team match that saw The Kabuki Warriors and Sarah Logan lose to the team of Lynch, Flair, and Natalya. This is a good sign that she may be a participant in the Royal Rumble on Jan. 26.
