NXT Discussion Post: 09.23.20
This week’s NXT has huge implications as a Battle Royal will be taking place to determine the next challenger for the NXT Women’s Title. Io Shirai needs a new opponent and we will see if it will be someone she has already fought or if it will be someone new.
In the Battle Royal, 11-names have been announced but as we know more could always enter. The list includes former NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley, Tegan Nox, Dakota Kai, Raquel Gonzalez, Candice LeRae, Kayden Carter, Kacy Catanzaro, Xia Li, Aliyah, Indi Hartwell, and Shotzi Blackheart.
Blackheart had a non-title match against Shirai last week. Although she didn’t win, it was a match that had good praise. Maybe she will end up taking the Battle Royal?
