Knockouts Tag Team Titles are returning at Hard to Kill

We asked for it and we got it!! The Knockouts Tag Team Championships are back!

During Bound for Glory, IMPACT officially announced the tag titles will be back and new champions will be crowned at the Hard to Kill pay-per-view. This event takes place on Jan. 16. What a way to start the new year!

There have been many rumors and hopes for the return of this championship. Over the past several months, the Knockouts division has grown tremendously by adding tremendous talent. A lot of this talent has joined and formed as tag teams.

The original run of the tag team titles was under the TNA banner and was active from 2009 to 2013. They were deactivated while ODB and Eric Young were champions. They were originally vacated due to Young being a male even though they held the titles for 478-days. After they were vacated, they were officially deactivated one week later.

We have seen great teams such as The Beautiful People, Rosita & Sarita, Gail Kim & Madison Rayne, and Sarita & Taylor Wilde hold this title before.

Who are you excited to see as the potential first champs under the IMPACT banner? Could it be Kiera Hogan & Tasha Steelz getting their first taste of gold? Or perhaps Havok & Nevaeh dominating IMPACT as they have done in the indies?

Check back in with Diva Dirt for more news on who will participate for this honor.
