Alexa Bliss gets engaged to Ryan Cabrera
Congratulations are in order for Alexa Bliss and Ryan Cabrera after the couple announced their engagement.
Cabrera posted a picture on his Instagram story that showed him on one knee in front of a shocked Bliss. The image also has the quote “Tonight was the best night of my life!!! And its just the beginning!!!”
Bliss confirmed the happy news on Twitter a short time after.
Bliss and Cabrera have been dating since the meet at the Smackdown on FOX premiere last year.
The year has been a rollercoaster year for the three-time RAW women’s champion. At WrestleMania 36 she became a two-time women’s tag team champion along with Nikki Cross. The two became embroiled in a feud with Bayley and Sasha Banks, which resulted in “Bliss Cross Apple Sauce” losing the tag titles.
Bliss was then involved in the Braun Strowman, Bray Wyatt/The Feind stroyline. The interactions with the former has allowed her to explore the darker side of her character.
Alexa Bliss continues to be one of the best things on Monday Night RAW as her partnership with The Feind takes increasingly dark and ingtriguing turns.
On the most recent episode of RAW, Alexa Bliss chose The Fiend over the long-term friendship with her former tag team partner, Nikki Cross. The decison soldified the Bliss and Feind friendship further and long may it continue.
The engagement along with Bliss’ career and character rejuvination in WWE is the perfect way to close out the year.
