Flair knows why Ronda Rousey doesn’t want to wrestle anymore

Ronda Rousey hasn’t wrestled for WWE since losing in the main event of WrestleMania 35 in 2019. There have been rumors aplenty about when WWE might want to bring her back, Rousey possibly training for an in-ring return, or Ronda’s preference to focus on her family instead of wrestling.

The global pandemic is another variable to consider. Does it even make business sense for Rousey to return to WWE while there are no live fans in attendance?

But what if there is a more straightforward explanation for Rousey’s absence? Charlotte Flair seems to think she knows what’s up:

Flair’s tweet refers to her match against Rousey at Survivor Series 2018. Flair repeatedly marked Rousey’s body with vicious cane shots, leaving her in a world of pain. On top of that, the live audience in Los Angeles turned on the babyface Rousey, booing her out of the building. The massive fan backlash appeared to catch Rousey off guard, and it fueled a heel turn for Ronda shortly before her departure at WrestleMania 35. Flair’s best guess is that Survivor Series 2018 is the night that Rousey stopped wanting to be a wrestler.

Rousey’s a longtime pro wrestling fan who was booked to be damn near invincible in her time with WWE, so I’m doubtful that Flair’s theory is correct. Then again, earlier this year Rousey did not speak kindly of the “fucking ungrateful fans”, so maybe Flair knows what she’s talking about.

Here is where you can chime in the comments below and let me know what you think. Does Ronda Rousey even want to be a pro wrestler anymore?
