The Rock and his fanny pack float by in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
NBC is debuting a new comedy show in February called Young Rock. As you might have guessed from the title, the show will be focused on Dwayne Johnson’s life circa 1990.
The 90’s were a strange time in fashion for everyone, and even someone as cool as The Rock didn’t go unscathed by the popular trends of the time. His fanny pack pose from many years ago was captured with exceptional accuracy by a special float during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade:
We only know how to do it big. #YoungRock is coming to NBC, February 2021. pic.twitter.com/pm6M72rsod

It looks like I wrote my list of what I’m thankful for today a bit too early, because I’m definitely grateful that I got to see this bizarre image of a younger Rock floating by the big city in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade with his fanny pack in all of its glory.
The Rock seemed to greatly enjoy it as well:
Well I’ve been lucky enough to do some pretty cool shit in my life.. but after seeing my @NBCYoungRock FANNY PACK FLOAT in the #MacysThanksgivingParade this might take the cake.
My plucked raised eyebrow is the stuff dreams (and nightmares) are made of #fannypack4life ✊ pic.twitter.com/QpoxfhVMzS— Dwayne Johnson (@TheRock) November 26, 2020
This is definitely a top 10 career achievement for the People’s Champion.
Will you be checking out Young Rock when it premieres in early 2021 on NBC?
