Leon Ruff stays winning
In the past year, Leon Ruff debuted on Raw, signed with WWE, and pulled off the biggest upset in NXT history. Many of us figured that last item was a one-off moment to advance Johnny Gargano & Damian Priest’s storyline, but it’s continued, and now Ruff will defend his North American championship at TakeOver: WarGames this Sunday (Dec. 6).
What else can the man do? How about give his lady a ring?

The future Mrs. Ruff(in – Leon’s government name is Dartanyon Ruffin, and how cool is that?) is NXT referee Aja Smith (and I’m surprised Gargano hasn’t brought that up as part of the wheels-based conspiracy he claims is working against him). She’s a former independent wrestler who signed with the company earlier this year. She also happens to be the first full-time Black female referee in WWE history
Ruff is… well, he’s a legend.
