Women’s Tag Team Titles are officially on the line at TLC
It has been officially announced that the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships will be defended at the TLC pay-per-view event on Dec. 20.
For months now Lana has had her issues with the tag champs, Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler. Week after week she has been put through the announcer’s table at ringside. This all led up to Survivor Series in the traditional five-on-five match between RAW and SmackDown. Lana wounded up becoming the Sole Survivor once Nia Jax and Bianca Belair were counted out for their respective teams.
Since that event, Asuka has drastically helped out Lana. For the past two week’s the makeshift team have won their matches against the tag champs. Last week, Lana scored the pin on Baszler.
At the time of this writing, they have not announced a stipulation to this match. It would be pretty foolish to at the very least not make it a tables match based off the name of the event and the history between Lana and Jax.
Could Lana finally get gold in WWE? Could Asuka become Asuka2Belts? Or will the dominance of Jax and Baszler continue to drown out any presence of a tag team division?
