Impact makes it official

Sure, new AEW World champion Kenny Omega and his friend/mentor Don Callis told us we’d need to tune into the Dec. 8 Impact for their comments on the unexpected end of Dynamite’s “Winter of Coming”.

And, yes, Impact quickly made sure to call a lot of attention to that fact.

But we didn’t officially know Omega & Callis would be on next Tuesday’s show. Heck, there’s even questions about Impact’s taping schedule in Nashville, and when the two Executive Vice-President’s would have filmed a segment. Not to mention rumors about just how extensive this AEW/Impact partnership is.

So Impact made sure we know to tune in to AXS, or Twitch, or their Impact Plus app next week.

“Appear” leaves a lot of wiggle room. But that’s all part of the hook.

How much of the story will they give away on Impact? How will they use this to convince AEW fans to make Impact a regular part of their viewing week? Can they do that if the report that his is a “one-off” is correct?
