Lana rings in the new year selling her injuries from the old one

For a few hours, anyway.

Heading into the last day of 2020, the last we’d heard about Lana on WWE television was when the announcers updated her kayfabe injuries during TLC.

It was on that show, you’ll recall, that Lana & Asuka were supposed to challenge Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler for the Women’s Tag titles. Raw had spent a lot of time building the Ravishing One as a never-day-die babyface looking to prove the bullying champs were wrong about her. She was put through tables for literally months by Jax, and finally scored a pin over Nia… only to be attacked after the match and written off television.

Charlotte Flair replaced Lana – who we were told was out with a MCL injury to her left knee, and a non-displaced radial head fracture of her left elbow – and the rest is history.

Lana popped back up in a couple of places as New Year’s Eve turned into New Year’s Day, first in this Instagram selling her kayfabe injuries (and having fun with the “f*** 2020” vibe we’ve all been sharing)…

She was miraculously healed for WWE’s TikTok livestream, though, accepting a rose from Angel Garza shortly before he won the 24/7 title from R-Truth…

Things are looking up already!
