Stephanie McMahon provides hope for a Ronda Rousey return

Former RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey hasn’t been seen on WWE programming since the historical first-ever women’s main event at WrestleMania 35. Since 2019 there have been many rumbles on if Rousey will return and when.

Although there isn’t any concrete answer to when or if she will return while speaking with TMZ Sport, Stephanie McMahon expressed her optimism of a Rousey return.

“Well you know, Ronda has been very public that she would like to start her own family,” Stephanie said. “And once she does that, then you know, our doors are absolutely open, our arms are open. We’re very hopeful that Ronda will come back home to WWE.”

Rousey did state when she left that she would like to start a family as McMahon has reiterated. As of late, Rousey has been seen training alongside her husband with Teal Piper. This time of the year always fuels the idea for returns with it being the Royal Rumble.

Last year many fans expected to see a Rousey return in the Rumble match. This of course did not occur and she spoke with Corey Graves on his After the Bell podcast this time last year. She stressed that she would return very soon if she was put on live events but that of course wasn’t feasible with the pandemic occurring directly after.

What would you think of a Ronda Rousey return? Do you think she would be a boost to the product or do you think her time has come and gone? Leave your thoughts below.
