New Day auctioning Brodie Lee gear from Royal Rumble for charity
Kane is also ensuring his appearance helps others.
You may have noticed the Brodie Lee-inspired gear your boys The New Day were rocking last night (Jan. 31) at Royal Rumble. They made sure to point it out during a backstage segment they had before the men’s Rumble, and Brodie’s widow Amanda Huber capture it in detail on her Instagram Story…
It’s an amazing tribute, made better by the fact Big E, Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods will be auctioning the gear for a charity in Jon Huber’s beloved hometown of Rah-Cha-Cha:
The city of Rochester meant a lot to Jon. @FoodlinkNY is a Rochester-based nonprofit that’s dedicated to feeding those in need in the area. We’ll be auctioning off our Royal Rumble gear with all of the proceeds going to @FoodlinkNY.

And if you’re like me and figure the gear is likely going to be out of your price range, you can just make a donation in Brodie’s honor:

That’s probably the most touching gesture from yesterday’s show, but it’s not the only one. Knoxville, Tennessee CBS affiliate WVLT reports that Kane, aka Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs, will donate his check from the Rumble to his office’s Applied Technology Scholarship Fund for Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) Knoxville. WWE and Jacobs have made a point of ensuring his constituents benefit whenever he wrestles.
Makes those New Day and Team Hell No reunions just a little bit sweeter, don’t you think?
