Hardy released from hospital, will appear on Dynamite this Wednesday
As covered here, Matt Hardy appeared to suffer a head injury after a scary bump off a scissors lift during his match against Sammy Guevara at All Out just last night (Sept. 5, 2020) in Jacksonville, Florida. He was allowed to finish the match after a doctor checked on him, something AEW President Tony Khan defended during the post-show media scrum.
Hardy’s wife, Reby, was unhappy with the entire situation, publicly shaming everyone involved and later claiming her husband suffered a concussion, which was at odds with what Khan said.
Now, Khan has returned with an update on Hardy’s condition, saying he is out of the hospital, actually doesn’t have a concussion, and will appear on the next episode of AEW television on Dynamite this week:
An update on Matt Hardy: it’s great news! Matt’s ok, we sent him to the hospital as a precaution & he’s passed the MRI + CT scans, he doesn’t have a concussion, and he’s being driven home now. Matt will be at Dynamite on Wednesday night to thank you amazing fans for your support!

Matt himself has yet to publicly comment on anything while Reby has made her Twitter profile private after criticizing how the company handled this entire situation.
