Nia Jax is said to be cleared medically for her return

The Irresistible Force Nia Jax has been out of action for nearly a year. Her last match was at last year’s WrestleMania where she battled alongside Tamina for the Women’s Tag Team Championship. That match was won by the IIconics.

Jax has been out due to surgery where she had both of her ACL’s repaired. This was covered during the last season of Total Divas where she can be seen before and after her surgery. Her goal mentioned during the show was to return by WrestleMania 36 in Tampa, Fla. That moment is rapidly approaching in just a few weeks and it seems that she is right on schedule.

PWInsider has reported that Jax is expected to be back at anytime now and that she is medically cleared. They state that her return is based on where WWE finds a storyline to fit her into.

It related news, that time could be as early as this Friday on SmackDown. Former two-time Divas Champion Paige will be returning to the blue brand this week. She has not been seen on WWE programming (minus WWE Backstage) since she was managing The Kabuki Warriors. Prior to that, she served as the SmackDown General Manager before that position was removed.

So what does this have to do with Jax?

Many people are speculating that Paige is returning to manage Jax and she will be addressing the recent actions of Bayley. The SmackDown Women’s Champion has been very opinionated about the status of the women’s division. She has beaten just above everyone on the roster and a returning Jax may be just what the doctor has ordered.

This could mean a few things. Either Jax could face Bayley one-on-one at WrestleMania or it may be possible that she is the sixth person of the rumored Six-pack Challenge. Perhaps Paige’s return has nothing to do with Jax at all?

Jax won the RAW Women’s Championship from Alexa Bliss at WrestleMania 34 in 2018.
