NXT Discussion Post: 04.22.20

NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair had a very emphatic vignette last week that made it clear she intends on going through every woman in NXT. Io Shirai is next up as she won the number one contender ladder match just a few weeks ago. Although Shirai is the next to go toe to toe with The Queen, there has been a lot of focus by Flair herself on Mia Yim.

Could Yim maybe respond to Flair on tonight’s show? Will they announce when Shirai will take on Flair? Perhaps at Money in the Bank?

The match that is scheduled tonight is a tag team match that developed from last week. Last week was Raquel Gonzalez vs. Tegan Nox. Nox won after Shotzi Blackheart came out with an distraction to both Gonzalez and Dakota Kai who was at ringside. Tonight we will see Gonzalez and Kai take on Nox and Blackheart.

We also saw the debut of sorts from Scarlett Bordeaux last week, well at least her boot during the attack on Ciampa. Could we finally fully see The Smoke Show tonight?
