Kylie Rae challenges Deonna Purrazzo for the Knockouts Title at Bound for Glory

Kylie Rae is finally ready to cash in her number one contender spot for a shot at the Knockouts Championship. Rae won a Gauntlet Match in July at Slammiversary that gave her an upcoming title match. As of this week’s IMPACT, she has officially challenged Deonna Purrazzo for her title at the upcoming Bound for Glory event.

Purrazzo won the title at the Slammiversary event and since then she has defended it against the woman she captured it from – Jordynne Grace. They had an Ironman match at Emergence where Purrazzo was able to prove that her win was far from a fluke. Now it is time for her to put the title on the line against someone new.

Rae challenged Purrazzo after her tag team partner Susie defeated Kimber Lee. After Lee lost, Purrazzo attempted to take out both Susie and Rae. She had Susie in the Fujiwara Armbar before Rae delivered a swift kick to the face of the champion. Rae then sent the champion out of the ring and retreating up the ramp.

Smiley Kylie then got serious for a moment as she reminded Purrazzo that she is indeed the number one contender. She says that the Knockouts Title isn’t Purrazzo’s and that she is coming for it. Purrazzo is then fuming and livid by the challenge.

Who do you think will walk out of Bound for Glory as the Knockouts Champion? The event will take place on Oct. 24.
