Abadon set for action on next week’s AEW Dynamite
Abadon returns to AEW Dynamite for the first time since June. “The Living Dead Girl” is set to take on Tay Conti in a match on next week’s show.
Conti was last seen on Dynamite in a losing effort against Nyla Rose on Sep, 9 edition of the show.
Abadon defeated Anna Jay in her AEW Dynamite debut on June, 11. This defeat was the catalyst for Jay joining the Dark Order. Since then Abadon has been applying her demonic trade on AEW Dark. Will the outcome of this match result in Conti joining the Dark Order?
Jay has been trying to recruit Conti to the Dark Order ever since she joined the company.
Britt Baker was in action against KiLynn King
The Doctor, Britt Baker took on AEW Dark regular KiLynn King in what was an extended squash match.
Baker controlled the match from start to finish and put King away with a vicious curb stomp and lock jaw for the submission victory.
Although very brief, Baker looked really good here. She is in great shape and looks to be back to her best. The sooner she gets into a feud with Shida for the title the better.
As much I like Shida and having her as champion, her run hasn’t hasn’t done anything to elevate the divison. The Thunder Rosa band aid has well and truly rubbed off and we are back to square one.
Through her charisma, character work and AEW’s willingness to actually put her on television, Britt Baker is the only one who can save this dying division.
