Zayn falls victim to a Hurt Business conspiracy
It’s not paranoia if they really are out to get you.
For his Survivor Series clash with Intercontinental champion Sami Zayn on Sun., Nov. 22, United States champ Bobby Lashley came to the ring at ThunderDome with all three of his Hurt Business teammates.
The crafty Zayn started the match by using rope breaks and taunting Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander. It gave him momentary advantages in the match, but Lashley’s power ran right through Sami’s scheme.
It wasn’t the SmackDown star’s only stratagem. He tried to get a member of the Hurt Business to attack him to trigger a disqualification. Zayn also feigned vertigo (in a callback to his 2018 feud with Lashley).

The Intercontinental champ tried to bail on the match, but tripped over MVP’s foot. It would give Sami something to complain about, but it also left him thrown right into a Full Nelson.
Anyone can clearly see Zayn was the victim of a conspiracy, but that doesn’t change the official decision.
