The Hurt Business fail to win the Raw tag team titles … twice!

@WWE

Even though The New Day beat The Hurt Business clean in a match for the Raw tag team titles on last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, WWE ran an angle today setting up yet another title match between the two sides.

This time, Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin called out Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston for losing at Survivor Series to The Street Profits and demanded another match. Because they came at them with disrespect, Woods accepted the challenge.

The match was moving along fine, and then it got weird. The action went to the outside and, for whatever reason, everyone took their sweet time getting back in the ring. So the referee counted them out and awarded the victory to The Hurt Business, with The New Day retaining the titles. MVP quickly got on the microphone and asked for the match to be restarted. After some back-and-forth, they agreed to get it going again.

It felt almost like the count out was unintentional.

Then Woods went ahead and pinned Benjamin anyway.

Which means The Hurt Business failed to win the Raw tag team titles three times in a row.
