You’re not supposed to do this to a championship belt
Hikaru Shida is unstoppable as the AEW women’s champion. Whenever the title is on the line, Shida has been able to defeat the likes of Nyla Rose, Thunder Rosa, Penelope Ford, and Big Swole.
On tonight’s (Nov. 25) episode of Dynamite, Shida added Anna Jay’s name to that list. The Dark Order and Tay Conti got involved, leading to Jay taking out Shida’s leg with a cane shot behind the referee’s back. But the champ persevered through the damage and retained her title yet again.
A new challenger suddenly emerged when Shida walked back up the entrance ramp in celebration. The creepy Abadon crawled out and left her bizarre mark on the AEW women’s championship.
