AEW Rankings: Silver lining for Jon Moxley

AEW released their latest rankings (Dec. 9, 2020). Let’s check out the movers and shakers.

Kenny Omega did it. He became AEW World Champion. There is a silver lining for Jon Moxley though. The loss slides him over to #1. The records reset for 2021, but I see no reason why Moxley wouldn’t retain top status to challenge Omega at AEW’s Revolution PPV on February 27. I feel bad for whoever Moxley has to wrestle to cement the title shot. All that anger toward Omega will be dished out on that poor soul.
Women:

No changes for the women. Abadon wrestles tonight on Dynamite in an effort to snatch a title opportunity before year’s end. #1 contendership isn’t on the line, but all story signs point in the direction of Abadon getting the next shot at Hikaru Shida.
Tag Team:

No changes for the tag team rankings this week either. The Young Bucks will square off with TH2 on Dynamite. A win by Jack Evans and Angelico would earn them a championship match.
Do you agree with AEW’s rankings this week? If not, what would you change?
