WWE announces Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, more for Raw ‘Legends Night’

The first episode of Monday Night Raw in 2021 will feature plenty of stars from days gone by.

Because, hey, when the ratings are low and your promotion can’t make any new stars, why not just call up the stars from the past? That’s what Vince McMahon is doing with WWE, as the company announced just today that the Jan. 4, 2021, episode of Monday Night Raw will be dubbed “Legends Night” and feature a long list of, well, legends.

Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Kurt Angle, Beth Phoenix, and Torrie Wilson were the names actually spoken in the promo for it, but graphics were shown for many more, from Big Show to Booker T to Sgt. Slaughter to Jimmy Hart and more.

No word on what these Legends will be doing, but the hope is obviously that their very presence will convince viewers to do something they’ve been doing increasingly less of over the past few years — actually tune in to the program.

We’ll see if that ends up being the case come Jan. 5.
