Riho and STARDOM reportedly part ways
Former AEW Women’s World Champion, Riho is reportedly no longer working with STARDOM. According to Dave Meltzer, the reason for the parting of ways is due to a clash of contracts.
The report states that STARDOM is signing their talent to exclusive contracts, but Riho cannot do so because of commitments with AEW.
Ever since her AEW debut last year, she has wrestled for both companies, but now it seems to have come to an end.
Riho has appeared for STARDOM since the promotion’s return in July but is not booked for their upcoming shows. Her last match for the company was on Boxing Day at Stardom Year-End Climax 2020 at Korakuen Hall.
Riho hasn’t appeared for AEW since March and is still unable to travel due to covid restrictions. There is no news of when she will return to AEW.
Riho became the inuguaral AEW Women’s World Champion when she defeated Nyla Rose on the first-ever episode of AEW Dynamite.
There has been no confirmation on this news from STARDOM or Riho at this time.
