The Miz gets the Money in the Bank contract back
Remember when The Miz cashed in the Money in the Bank contract at TLC to make the Drew McIntyre vs. AJ Styles WWE title match a triple threat, and then lost? Turns out, it didn’t happen.
On last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, The Miz argued it shouldn’t have ever counted because, well, he wasn’t the one who cashed in the contract, technically speaking. No, that was John Morrison.
It seemed like a good heel line to explain away defeat. As it turns out, WWE used that logic to put the Money in the Bank contract back with Miz on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw:
They were right all along…@mikethemiz is ONCE AGAIN Mr. Money in the Bank! #WWERaw @TheRealMorrison pic.twitter.com/Xvt6T6VHYl

The cash-in at TLC was executed in such a way that it had none of the excitement of cash-ins from years past. It’s hard telling if this is an indication that the powers that be want The Miz to take the title at some point or if they’re just going to humiliate him again.
Time will tell!
