As mentioned in the post looking over the year that was on SmackDown, it was a challenging year for WWE. Monday Night Raw suffered through the same issues as the blue brand, with no fans in attendance for the majority of the year. SmackDown still managed to provide generally compelling television.

The show was mostly mediocre with spurts of being good but never great. Then again, our review guys are positive folks who are never too harsh on the product with their grade. Hey, we’re still fans around here!
