Deonna Purrazzo accepts Taya Valkyrie’s challenge for Hard to Kill

It has been made official, Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo will defend her title against Taya Valkyrie at Hard to Kill. This event takes place on Jan. 16 and will kick start the year for IMPACT.

Purrazzo is ending the year as a two-time champion and she is set on starting off 2021 by beating the longest reigning Knockouts Champion. In a promo video with Purrazzo and Kimber Lee, she addresses Valkyrie and says she respects her accomplishment as the longest-reigning champ. However, if (when) she goes toe-to-toe with Valkyrie and beats her then that lays the foundation for the empire being built by The Virtuosa.

The Knockouts Title won’t be the only women’s title on the line at Hard to Kill. For the first time since 2013, two Knockouts will be crowned tag team champions. Tasha Steelz and Kiera Hogan have made it to the final of the tournament and are waiting for their opponents to be decided. Their opponents will be the winners of the last semi-final round between Nevaeh & Havok or Jazz & Jordynne Grace.
