A whole lot of wrestling fans tuned in to honor the memory of Brodie Lee
The ratings and viewership data are in for this week’s (Dec. 30) NXT and AEW television shows.
PW Torch tweeted the results earlier this evening:
AEW last night drew 977,000 viewers (up 202K from 775K). NXT drew 586,000 (down 112K from 698K). 18-49 demo AEW outdrew NXT 0.40 to 0.12.

“AEW last night drew 977,000 viewers (up 202K from 775K). NXT drew 586,000 (down 112K from 698K). 18-49 demo AEW outdrew NXT 0.40 to 0.12.”
This is normally the part where I’d compare the results to last week and briefly touch on recent trends, but I don’t think that is necessary this time around. You are certainly welcome to discuss any ratings data in the comments below, if you wish.
For me, I’ll just focus on the fact that a whole lot of pro wrestling fans decided to end 2020 by honoring the life and legacy of a man who touched the lives of so many people around him. The viewers were treated to what some people have called a perfect show.
Here’s to hoping that we don’t have to watch another one like it for a very long time.
