Mick Foley has COVID

Mick Foley revealed on Twitter that he has COVID-19. The 55-year-old WWE Hall of Famer says that he has been isolating in a hotel room for more than two weeks:
I tested positive for COVID following a December virtual signing, and have been isolating in a hotel room for the past 18 days.
Please continue to take this virus seriously – mask up, social distance, look out for one another.
Wishing all of you a happy, healthy new year. pic.twitter.com/WFcM8iuUmi

The coronavirus pandemic is out of control here in the United States of America. Hospitalizations are at record levels, and roughly 70,000 Americans died from COVID-19 in December. Just last weekend, airport travel reached its maximum level since March. Too many people aren’t practicing the basic safety health measures that are required to keep the virus under control, and too many important political leaders are ignoring the crisis and/or pretending that things are fine. Deaths in January are expected to reach into the 90K to 100K range.
So even though we are in a new year and vaccine distribution has begun, please follow Mick’s words and take this virus seriously. Mask up, social distance, and look out for one another.
