Lio Rush releases new music video, theme song

Do you remember Lio Rush? The former NXT Cruiserweight Champion has been keeping busy on the music scene. He recently dropped a jamming new music video for his song, “Do You Remember.”

A few quick thoughts on this video. The vocal hook and beat are pretty catchy. NXT die-hards may recognize the devil to be Dan Matha, according to the YouTube comments. I also want to see a comeback of feather pens and inkwells.

Rush also released his new theme song for returning to the ring. “Feel the Pain,” for “Blackheart” Lio Rush.

“Feel the Pain,” has an interesting vibe for a wrestling entrance. I can envision live crowds embracing it. There is a signature noise in the first five seconds for fans to instantly recognize who would be coming through the curtain. The music then builds toward a crescendo of anticipation before Rush starts rapping.

You’ll be able to catch Lio Rush compete for gold when he debuts in MLW on January 6. He will be challenging Myron Reed for the MLW World Middleweight Championship on the Kings of Colosseum special for MLW Fusion.
