AEW Rankings: Fresh set for the new year and bonus predictions
AEW released their latest rankings (Jan. 6, 2021). The records reset for the new year. Let’s check out the fresh list.
Men:
Women:
Tag Team:
All three sets remain the same as the final rankings of 2020. That’s to be expected. It will be interesting to see how activity, or lack thereof, will influence the early weeks. For example, Trent is out with an injury. Will Best Friends fall out of the top 5 before he can return? Also, lots of singles competitors have been racking up wins on Dark. Will a couple of quick victories propel someone like Brandon Cutler into the mix?
Since there is not much to discuss for this week’s rankings, let’s have some fun instead. 2021 is going to be a long journey, but I’m going to try my hand at predicting the final rankings for the end of the year.
