Bayley, Bianca Belair declare for women’s Royal Rumble match

This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown was almost entirely centered around two title matches — one saw Big E retain the Intercontinental title while Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode, those Dirty Dawgs, knocked off The Street Profits to become SmackDown tag team champions — and a Gauntlet match to determine who will challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal championship at Royal Rumble on Jan. 31.

To that end, no one on the men’s side stated their intentions of entering the Royal Rumble match.

That wasn’t the case on the women’s side, as both Bianca Belair and Bayley declared for the match while bickering back-and-forth in a backstage segment. They’ll have to settle their differences in the Rumble.

That brings the list of officially declared entrants up to four:

• Nia Jax
• Charlotte Flair
• Bayley
• Bianca Belair

Shayna Baszler also mentioned doing like her partner, Jax, and entering the match, though, for whatever reason, she has yet to be officially added to it. That will almost certainly change in the weeks to come.
