SHINE Wrestling returns with Shine 66 – Allysin Kay vs. Ivelisse

SHINE Wrestling is back for the first time in nearly a year with their Shine 66 event. Just as with most indie promotions, Shine has been on hiatus due to the ongoing pandemic.

The last event they had was Shine 65 which took place in February 2020 with Ivelisse successfully defending her Shine Championship against Lindsay Snow. This time she will have to go against a familiar opponent and two-time Shine Champion Allysin Kay.

At this time the match between the champion Ivelisse and challenger Kay is the only match announced. Ivelisse is in her third (and most for the promotion) reign and defeated Mercedes Martinez at Shine 64 to become champ. According to the poster for the event, it appears the other champions will be in attendance – Shine Nova Champion Natalia Markova and the Shine Tag Team Champions BTY (Marti Belle & Jayme Jameson).

The show will take place on Jan. 23 in Port Richey, Fla. at 8 P.M. EST.
