No NXT female enhancement talent will be safe until Tian Sha is stopped

Coming out of the Jan. 13 episode of NXT, Matt Camp’s Injury Report mostly focuses on two guys who put each other on the list last week. It was Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch who sent Finn Bálor and Kyle O’Reilly to the trainer’s room this time around, but even the injuries are the same.

Which is fine, because it gives us a chance to focus on the devastation Xia Li’s been leaving in her wake these past two weeks. And to speculate about Tian Sha…

Is that the name of the stable, or the mysterious crone (who I’m pretty sure will all think is Karen Q at this point) ordering Li to beat the crap out of the likes of Katrina Cortez and Valentina Feroz?

Whoever it is, what does it mean? I barely speak English, and I know Google Translate can’t always be trusted, but somebody with some Chinese language skills tell me this isn’t right…

Or maybe it is right? That’s pretty much the right reaction to what her sensei’s been making Xia do to people since they left her torture dojo a couple weeks ago.

While you’re mulling it all over, here’s this week’s Injury Report, and the full list of what it covers:

  • Finn Bálor: reaggravated his arm injury; day-to-day
  • Kyle O’Reilly: reaggravated his jaw injury; “doctors were forced to push back his clearance date”
  • Valentina Feroz: injuries to her face and body; not medically cleared
