Taya Valkyrie is written off of IMPACT as she is “arrested” for shooting John E. Bravo
On this week’s episode of IMPACT, it turns out that Taya Valkyrie was the one who shot John E. Bravo after all during his wedding with Rosemary. This wedding took place at the end of October and had the roster reeling. The crime was originally placed on Larry D but after some detective work and further proof it turns out it was really Valkyrie who framed him. She then admitted to it before being escorted out of the building.
As Valkyrie was being escorted out, Tommy Dreamer said that if she is lucky she will go to Jacksonville State Prison, or if she isn’t that lucky she will be sent to Stamford Maximum Penitentiary for two years with an option for a third. Acey Romero chimes in by saying that he hopes they don’t send her to Baltimore.
Before leaving, Rosemary stops her now former tag team partner. She asks her why she never told her that she did it. Valkyrie says she didn’t know why she didn’t tell her but that one of her greatest accomplishments in IMPACT was having Rosemary as her friend. The two then embraced. As Valkyrie exits, Crazzy Steve appears to comfort his Decay partner.
Valkyrie’s contract was said to have expired in December according to PWInsider and according to Fightful Select, they were told that she was not at the most recent tapings. Her last match was against Deonna Purrazzo at Hard to Kill where she failed to become a two-time Knockouts Champion.
If she is in fact finished with IMPACT then she leaves as the longest-reigning champion in the companies history.
