Women’s tag team title match official for Royal Rumble

Here is a match that is certainly a match!

Charlotte Flair & Raw Women’s Champion Asuka ended up being the duo to take down the dominant team of Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler, ending a relatively long run with the women’s tag team titles late last year. Since then, they’ve all more or less gone their separate ways to deal with other issues.

Jax & Baszler have been getting scrappy with the entire division while Flair has been involved in a feud with Lacey Evans over her father, Ric Flair, and Asuka has been dealing with the demonic Alexa Bliss.

I suppose it only makes sense, then, to do a rematch for the titles now, at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view this Sun., Jan. 31, 2021, at the ThunderDome at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.
