I don’t know how Kingston survived this sick bump

Eddie Kingston has had trouble winning a big singles match against his main enemies of late. First, there was his loss to Jon Moxley at November’s Full Gear in an AEW world championship match. Then the bastard PAC took care of Kingston shortly after the calendar flipped to 2021.

On tonight’s (Jan. 27) episode of Dynamite, it was Lance Archer’s turn to finally get his hands on Kingston in a singles match. Kingston came to the ring alone, so Archer sent his manager Jake Roberts to the back as well.

The Murderhawk Monster manhandled Kingston for most of the match. He could have won multiple times, but refused to go for the pin because he wanted to inflict more damage upon Kingston. For example, I’m pretty sure that he tried to permanently maim Eddie with the following sick maneuver. I don’t know how he survived this one:

Archer was more focused on dishing out pain instead of going for the pin. Of course that decision backfired on him. Kingston’s allies, the Butcher and the Blade, dragged Jake Roberts out from the back in distress, creating a distraction. That allowed The Bunny to appear behind the referee’s back to hand a weapon over to the Mad King. One strike was all it took to put Archer away.

What did you think of Kingston’s win over Archer?
