Dana White doesn’t see Brock Lesnar coming back to UFC

When word got around that Brock Lesnar’s contract with WWE expired, talk immediately turned to a possible return to the UFC, where a big money fight with Jon Jones would await. UFC President Dana White expressed interest in putting it together, and Jones was quick to tweet some trash talk to get the ball rolling on his end.

That talk quickly died out, however, and now White has told TMZ he doesn’t think Lesnar is ever coming back to MMA:

“Sure, I’d love to hear how he’s doing, and how his family is, and things like that but I think that’s going to be the extent of a conversation with him. The guy has had a long, killer career. He actually came in and became a UFC heavyweight champion and the guy has made a lot of money. I just don’t see him coming back over here again at his age.”

The UFC talk is something Lesnar has used as leverage in contract negotiations in the past but he’s old enough now that the threat of his actually leaving to go through a camp and then a fight just doesn’t pack the same punch as it did a couple years ago.

Don’t be surprised when he comes back to WWE, as per usual.
