Tessa Blanchard takes on Ace Austin for the X-Division Title

On tonight’s episode of IMPACT, Tessa Blanchard will take on Ace Austin for the X-Division Championship. She will attempt to become a double champion as she currently is the World Heavyweight Champion. She won this title at Hard to Kill by defeating Sami Callihan in January.

This match stems from Austin recently suffering a loss to Blanchard without either title on the line. He has demanded for a rematch and asked for the title to be on the line. Austin, however, expected this to be for the World Heavyweight Title and not his X-Division Title. Since he lost to Blanchard this means that his title is on the line and hers is not.

Blanchard will also be featured in an upcoming original called Diary: Tessa Blanchard with the date listed of Jan. 12 – the day she won the World Heavyweight Championship.
