Bianca Belair praises Zelina Vega as an “amazing performer”

The EST of WWE has spoken very highly of Zelina Vega prior to Vega’s first title match at Clash of Champions. Bianca Belair and Vega have had a very sporadic rivalry over the course of the summer. These interactions generally involved the tag teams they both were associated with, The Street Profits and Andrade & Angel Garza.

Belair and Vega were foes on-screen but Belair spoke on the talent she sees in Vega and that she is more than just a manager. The role of a manager is what Vega has been known for since joining WWE. Although she has had random matches, she hasn’t had the time to show the WWE audience what she can do. She will have an opportunity on the Kickoff show at Clash of Champions as she challenges Asuka for the RAW Women’s Title.

Belair spoke to Metro and had the following to say about Vega:

“Zelina’s great! She’s an amazing performer. She’s very entertaining, she’s just very easy to feed off of. I was so happy when I found out I would be able to work with her and get in the ring with her as well. She hasn’t been able to really get in the ring and be a wrestler – she’s been a manager most of her career.”

She specifically mentions their work together and says the following –

“I was excited for her, she was excited for me, and we were excited to get in there together and create some magic. We had a lot of fun with that.”

See Zelina Vega take on Asuka for the RAW Women’s Title on the Clash of Champions kickoff show, tonight at 6 P.M. EST.
