Jax & Baszler having fun with WWE saying they aren’t medically cleared

Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler’s Women’s Tag Team title defense against Ruby Riott & Liv Morgan was pulled from Sept. 27’s Clash of Champions PPV. Word is that bout and one other were changed due to circumstances surrounding the recent COVID-19 outbreak at WWE (not to be confused with the ones at AEW and CMLL). The company just announced that Jax & Baszler – along with Nikki Cross – weren’t medically cleared to compete.

With that second one, from the jump, we were 99.99999% sure Jax was heeling and/or trolling. The tweet about Shayna potentially covers a few different bases; two that immediately come to mind are how fans assume a pregnancy announcement is forthcoming whenever something is going on with a woman, and the way Baszler roasted Becky Lynch for her impending motherhood back in May.
Why? Mostly, she just wants us to know they’re okay. And to mess with her partner a little bit…
