Hikaru Shida to put her title on the line against Nyla Rose at Full Gear
There is finally a women’s match added to AEW’s Full Gear pay-per-view event that takes place on Nov. 7. The AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida will be defending her title against the very woman she defeated for it, Nyla Rose.
Shida defeated Rose at the second annual Double or Nothing event in May. She is currently the longest-reigning champion at 158-days and counting. She has surpassed Riho’s inaugural reign of 133-days.
Rose’s manager Vickie Guerrero demanded this match to happen from Shida in a promo just a couple of weeks ago. Guerrero stated that Rose would not step foot back into the ring until Shida agreed to put her title on the line. Shida accepted the match tonight and said it will take place at Full Gear.
Could Rose become the first woman to become a two-time champ for AEW, or will Shida’s reign continue?
