AEW announces the date for Moxley vs. Omega
When Kenny Omega defeated Hangman Page at Full Gear, he became the number one contender for Jon Moxley’s AEW world championship.
With the next AEW pay-per-view more than three months away, it begged the question, how will AEW hold off on this must-see match for that long?
The answer is that they aren’t waiting. The match is happening in just a few weeks, on the Dec. 2 episode of Dynamite.
Both men cut promos to hype the match.
Moxley defeated Omega one year ago at Full Gear in an absurdly violent Lights Out match. Moxley believes that he’s the best wrestler in the world and if anybody can beat Omega twice, it’s him.
“Beating Omega once is one thing. Beating Omega twice takes someone special, and that’s me” – @JonMoxley.

But this time it will be a straight up wrestling match, and Omega is confident that he has the advantage.
.@KennyOmegamanX is sick of being an afterthought.

Tony Khan has promised huge things coming to Dynamite for the remainder of 2020, and this announcement certainly fits the bill.
