That explains Chelsea Green’s weird debut on SmackDown
Chelsea Green debuted on Friday Night SmackDown this week in a Fatal 4-Way match for one of the spots on the women’s Survivor Series team. She spent almost no time actually working the match, as she was dropkicked off the apron by Liv Morgan and spent the remainder of the bout on the outside selling.
Well, as it turns out, she wasn’t selling.
That’s according to WWE, who report she suffered a broken wrist and was taken to a local hospital — they actually used that term, by the way, instead of the typical “medical facility” — for further evaluation.
It’s a tough break for Green, who has spent months in limbo following news of a call up to the main roster that wasn’t followed up on. She isn’t getting down about it, though, as she took to social media with an upbeat attitude about it:
