Randy Orton ‘fined’ for ‘putting his hands’ on a WWE official

WWE Network

Last Monday, WWE champion Randy Orton was very not happy to learn he’d been booked to defend his title against Drew McIntyre on this week’s Raw.

He was so not happy, he slammed sort-of authority figure (and five-time NWA World Heavyweight champion*) Adam Pearce up against the wall and told the suits who made the match they could go to h-e-double hockey sticks.

Heading into his showdown with McIntyre tonight (Nov. 16), Orton’s learned his temper will cost him some kayfabe money:

“WWE Champion Randy Orton has been fined an undisclosed amount for putting his hands on Adam Pearce last week on Raw, WWE.com has learned.“

Not sure how you can focus on your scripted championship match when you’re distracted by the threat of losing a wad of pretend cash. But Randy’s a pro, he’ll fight though it.

Join us in our live blog tonight and find out if I’m right.
