Stephanie McMahon named one of the ‘Most Powerful Women in Sports 2020’
WWE’s Chief Brand Officer, Stephanie McMahon has been named one of the most powerful women in sports by Adweek.
McMahon took to Twitter thank Adweek for including her in the list and congratulating all of the other honourees.
The list includes XFL owner Dany Garcia, LA Lakers president Jeanie Buss, Erika Nardini of Barstool Sports and two-time U.S. Open tennis champion Naomi Osaka.
The Adweek article had this to say about the “Billion Dollar Princess”;
McMahon has made a name for herself fighting for gender equality, too, debuting the unscripted series Fight Like a Girl and spearheading a professional development initiative called the Women’s Affinity Group.
“As a mother to three daughters, I am passionate about empowering and showing young girls and women that there are no boundaries to what you can do or be,” says McMahon. “Empowering women begins impactful, meaningful conversations.”
The inclusion in Adweek’s list makes it Stephanie McMahon’s second high-profile listing of the year. In October Forbes named her most influential CMO’s list last month.
Congratulations to Stephanie McMahon.
